Located on a high school campus for at risk kids is a one acre farm. 75% of the land is devoted to freely roaming animals, the rest is cultivated to grow food. Various perma-culture techniques are being used and taught. Their high quality produce is used for school lunches. The students get to interact with the animals and be part of the farm club which has an amazing healing affect on everyone involved. Who wouldn’t want to hang out with Pedro the Alpaca and all his animal friends.
We funded a badly needed hoop garden to grow veggies for their wild life rescues. Taking one more step towards sustainability while lowering their feed bills.
